Now in its 4th generation, Theben AG stands for intelligent and sustainable building control. It all began in 1921 with the first staircase light timer switch. Today, the company manufactures components for KNX building automation and for the easy-to-use KNX smart home system LUXORliving, among others.

LUXORplug for commissioning

LUXORplug is the intuitive Windows software for commissioning LUXORliving. Drag & Drop instead of ETS. Can be used immediately without prior knowledge.

LUXORplay for operation

LUXORplay is the app for convenient and easy operation of LUXORliving. The app reads out the project file when it is first connected to the system central and adopts all the names of the rooms, switches, etc. The visualisation is ready for use with the first start.

Weather station

The weather station, for example, lowers the blinds in direct sunlight, brings them into a safe position in strong winds or automatically retracts sensitive textile hangings when it rains.

iON push-button sensors

iON push-button sensors and room controllers switch and dim lights, control blinds, trigger scenes, measure temperature and display the status.

DALI broadcast actuator for colour control

With the DALI-2 certified 4-channel LUXORliving D4 DALI actuator, up to 30 DALI operating devices per channel can be controlled via broadcast commands. The actuator also supports the control of colour and colour temperature of devices according to DALI Device Type 8 (DT8). In this way, the room atmosphere can be made more pleasant by using colder or warmer light.

LUXORliving is the simple Smart Home offering all-round home comfort: Switching and dimming lights, regulating the heating, controlling the blinds, curtains or shutters. It’s so simple to install and use that you don’t need to be a specialized integrator to install LUXORliving.

How to connect different smart devices via the Home Connect Plus app:

If you haven’t already installed the LUXORplay App, download it from the App Store and connect your Theben connected devices.
Download the Home Connect Plus app and register.
Add devices by pressing the + sign in the app’s device tab.
The app automatically displays apps from other manufacturers that are already installed. Select the brand of your devices and sign in.
Allow Home Connect Plus to access your devices.
All your connected devices will appear in the device overview and you are ready to go.
