The intelligent water management system offers proactive protection against water damage while simultaneously increasing home comfort by monitoring key data in the ambient environment of your rooms, such as humidity and temperature.

Pontos Base – Your smart water manager

The Pontos Base checks water pipes for leaks, automatically shuts off the water supply in the event of damage and sends a push message to your smartphone. You can then unblock the water supply directly at the base, or you can unblock it using the app. In addition, the device creates statistics about water consumption and informs you about the hardness of the water. The Pontos Scout transmits the data for humidity and room temperature. The device can also be controlled directly via the display. Double security: The base also works in the event of a power failure – thanks to an integrated battery.

Pontos Scout – your smart water sensors

The Pontos Scouts are positioned at all important points in the house. The small water sensors sound the alarm when water damage is imminent, for example due to a leaking sink, high water, burst pipes or an open window. They report humidity levels that are too high or too low, for example in the bathroom, children’s room or pantry. Pontos Scouts also reliably report room temperatures that are too high or too low, whether in the living room or in the basement. In case of irregularities, you will immediately receive a push message on your smartphone.

With Home Connect Plus you can create your personal vacation mode for your smart products. This allows you to keep a constant eye on the state of your home and start predefined automations with just one click. So that you can enjoy your vacation carefree, the hansgrohe Pontos Base checks the pipes for conspicuous water consumption, which indicates leaks. In case of damage, the Pontos Base automatically closes the water supply and informs you via smartphone. The hansgrohe Pontos Scout reacts to leaking water drains and communicates with the Pontos Base. In addition, motion detectors and smart cameras can provide further security by protecting your home from burglars – all in one app.

How to connect different smart devices via the Home Connect Plus app:

If you haven’t already installed the hansgrohe home app, download it from the App Store and connect your hansgrohe connected devices.
Download the Home Connect Plus app and register.
Add devices by pressing the + sign in the app’s device tab.
The app automatically displays apps from other manufacturers that are already installed. Select the brand of your devices and sign in.
Allow Home Connect Plus to access your devices.
All your connected devices will appear in the device overview and you are ready to go.
