How Ngenic Tune works
Ngenic Tune consists of three white boxes that collect information about weather, indoor and outdoor temperature and help you optimize your heating system after your needs. When the boxes are installed you will get full control of your heating from our mobile app.
Wireless indoor sensor
You will mount the indoor sensor approximately 1.5 m from the floor in the room that best represents the house. There it will collect information about temperature, sunlight and humidity.
With an extra indoor sensor you can see the temperature for an additional room.
Gateway
To be able to see all the data in the mobile app, and so that Ngenic Tune will be able to make smart calculations, this box needs to talk to the internet. You connect it to your router with the included Ethernet cable.
Control box
The control box tells your heating system what to do in order to give you the right temperature regardless of wind and weather. If you at any time would lose the connection to the internet the control box automatically will go into a “Smart passive mode” that returns the control to your heating system.
Ngenic Track
The add-on product Ngenic Track gives you a full overview of the energy usage in your house. You install Ngenic Track by attaching it to your energy meter, and after it’s installed you can see real-time data and your historical energy usage in the mobile app.
Ngenic Tune and Home Connect Plus
With the Home Connect Plus app, Ngenic offers all its users completely new perspectives and opportunities to optimize the smart home experience. With a single app users connect their Ngenic Tune with different smart home equipment and entire systems from different manufacturers and can control them centrally to get even
more out of them.
Set up in a few steps
How to connect different smart devices via the Home Connect Plus app:
- If you haven’t already installed the Ngenic Tune app, download it from the App Store and connect your Ngenic connected devices.
- Download the Home Connect Plus app and register.
- Add devices by pressing the + sign in the app’s device tab.
- The app automatically displays apps from other manufacturers that are already installed. Select the brand of your devices and sign in.
- Allow Home Connect Plus to access your devices.
- All your connected devices will appear in the device overview and you are ready to go.
